2024 Scotland Trip

Prep4 Pro enjoyed its inaugural trip to Europe, to train with and play against some professional sides earlier this year.

We took 15 of our players over who were identified through our summer ID camp to continue their progression and pathway, testing themselves and being evaluated by some of Scotland’s finest academy teams. The trip also allowed for the parents to take in some of the scenery and visit Scotland in the summer which is when it is at its best.

The trip lasted 11 days with the players playing 7 games and training while enjoying trips to Edinburgh, Glasgow and Loch Lomond.

We would like to thank all of the clubs we played against but particularly St Johnstone FC, Dundee United and Partcik Thistle who allowed us the privilege of playing with and against their academy teams.

This was the first of many trips to Europe and as we deepen and widen our relationships with the clubs we are working with, we expect more players to benefit from the experience and the association with these fine clubs. Who knows maybe even having a player or two signing for and joining the youth ranks from our own P4P teams.

We would also like to go on record thanking Toni Smith, David Elliot, Alan Rankin, Scott Madden, Mick McMullan, Brad Cathie and Gerry Creaney for providing the pathway to our players.

Similarly, we would also like to give a big Thank You to Brian Welsh and all the staff and players of Partick Thistle Football Club. Our time with the Jags was truly one that changed lives and will forever be etched in the memories of the parents and players who were part of this brilliant trip.

Thank you one and all……..now for 2025.
